#3. Force yourself to eat more slowly.

It takes an average of 20 minutes for the human body to realize its full. That is plenty of time to eat and then overeat. One easy thing you can do to eat slower is to chew your food more thoroughly. Chewing slowly and thoroughly will not only help to stretch out your meals, it'll also add to the satisfaction of your meals.

#4. Drink more water.

Drinking plenty of cold water every day is an essential part of losing weight. Surprisingly enough, people often confuse thirst and hunger. When you start craving a snack, drink a glass of water instead. If you are still hungry in 10 or 15 minutes, eat your snack. Staying properly hydrated also increases the metabolism and gives you more energy!
