A pleasant surprise

This meal was better than expected. I browned the chicken in my Instant Pot and then dumped the sauce in. Just a few minutes under high pressure and a delicious meal was served.

was better the next day

made for dinner and didn't like it much. it was soggy and salty tasting. since I hate wasting food I decided to eat the leftovers and microwaved those for lunch the next day and it tasted much better. not sure if it was the microwave zapping some of the water from it or what but was better after being reheated

I don't like mushrooms so I hated having to pick them out.

Paleo Chicken Cacciatore
Posted by Vicki on 29th Nov 2016
We loved the Chicken Cacciatore, however we wished there was MORE sauce and veggies since the sauce is what made the dish. Please add more sauce :)

A bit too salty but the flavor were great and it was easy to whip up.

I put it in the crockpot. It was so tender it fell apart. Flavors were excellent.

Put this bagged item in the cockpot in the morning on low and come home that evening to dinner waiting for you. Tender shredded chicken in a tomato base sauce those perfect with some zuoodles or in a lettuce wrap.

Very good. Anything with mushrooms is good.

My family and I thought the chicken cacciatore was delicious. My 8 year old son is a picky eater, but he thought it tasted great too.

Very good. Suggestion add some black olives.
My daughter would flip if she knew what the sauce was made of.

I blended the veggies to make it look like sauce. Pouring it over veggie noodles with the chicken on top. She ate the whole plate. :) thank you so much. P.S. she 10 and hates veggies.
Great paleo Italian

Love this Chicken Cacciatore. Italian cooking is one of my specialties, so I was skeptical that a paleo version of an old classic would stand up. This recipe is so flavorful! I actually served it at a dinner party as part of the lineup...and the guests loved it as well. Great when you need an elegant, tasty meal in a hurry!

I start every review letting people know I'm a picky eater. This dish was easy to prepare and absolutely delish. I served it with the herbed squash saute and made a Rice A Roni rice pilaf.
