What is Paleo?

The Paleolithic diet, or Paleo diet, is an eating plan based on a “hunter and gatherer” diet. Because of its clean eating philosophies, the paleo diet features gluten-free meals — essentially what man was eating before agriculture evolved more than 10,000 years ago when we began eating a grain-based diet. A balanced Paleo diet includes meats, fish, vegetables, healthy oils, some nuts, and some fruits. Basically, you eat whole, unprocessed, nutrient-dense, nourishing foods. What you don’t eat are foods that will harm you by causing systemic inflammation, ones that will wreck your gut, or derail your natural metabolic processes. This includes grains, dairy, legumes, artificial ingredients, highly processed foods like high fructose corn syrup, sugar, and alcohol. If you’d like to learn more about this clean-eating diet, there are several good websites and books that explain this philosophy in detail. You might be thinking, “No cheese?! What can I eat, then?” In truth, there is plenty! The hard part is the time involved in shopping, preparing, and finding good recipes for gluten-free meals.

That’s where we come in. We do it all for you. We provide Paleo meal delivery in the Austin area that provides the convenience of fast food or supermarket frozen dinners. However, the difference is that our food is good for your body and provides you and your family the proper nutrients to sustain yourself through this minefield we call life. Our pre-made Paleo meals are here to make eating healthy convenient and affordable. Order your meals now!

Food Allergies:  While every effort is made to ensure that there is no cross contamination, all our Paleo offerings are made in a facility on shared equipment with dairy, wheat, grains, sugar, soy, nut and peanut products.
