(Oven Ready - Serves 3) Here is a meal with all your favorite Italian ingredients without the pasta.  Layers of Portobella Mushrooms between a rich meat sauce made with a mixture of grass finished ground beef & local pasture raised pork and lots of vegetables.  Then topped with a creamy béchamel sauce.  All Paleo ingredients of course!  Enjoy!


HEATING INSTRUCTIONS: Bake at 350, uncovered, for 45 minutes.  Serve with Kale Salad.

    I really liked the flavor of the meat, but sweet potato was over whelming--how about eggplant, please!

    this seems more like a sauce than a casserole so we put it over vegetables

    My entire family liked this. I'd make the "non-paleo" family members some pasta to go with it. I ate it with a salad. Yum.
