    Bacon Braised Cabbage

Actually added to roast halfway through cook time in crock pot. Very pleased with results. Sprinkled cabbage with xylitol for southern sweet taste after adding to slow cooker. Dish was awesome. Reminiscent of home cooking from 70's.

I added a little coconut aminos and some onions, SO good!! I’d even eat this just by itself. I’ve bought 3 more in less than a week.

Comfort food, no guilt, happy place

Eating my veggies has not been my favorite part of adulthood. Once this came along, I was like...mmm...bacon...I guess I will try it. I am glad I did. Per serving, you probably only eat the equivalent of 1-1/2 pieces of bacon...so I have no issue with that at all. It really is one of my faves!
