(Serves 3) Frozen green beans you blanch at home, then sautee with coconut oil and almonds for a quick fresh side.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: COOK FROM FROZEN Bring 1/4 tsp Real Salt and some water in a skillet to a boil. Add green beans and simmer until tender, 3-4 minutes. Drain. Saute almonds in the coconut oil in same skillet, add green beans, toss to coat and heat through. Use remaining 1/2 tsp Real Salt to taste.

The coconut oil makes these taste like dessert. This is one of my fave veggies from TSK so far. Please don't raise the price; I will buy these every week!

The green beans were delicious, crunchy and I don't normally enjoy green beans.
Prepare them straight from frozen. You can keep a backlog in the freezer to deploy at the last minute. Very delicious. Since it uses coconut oil instead of butter it's suitable for vegans. Great dish for potluck dinners.
These were ok. Wish I had skipped the salt because it was too salty just with the amount that went into the water.
I didn't know how much water to put in with the beans. I over cooked the nuts. the containers where not labeled. i really didn't know what was what but if figured it out. i would try it again.
never knew adding slivered almonds could make green beans that much better! simple and flavorful!
